In numerous member surveys over the last few years, AACTE has found that nearly 90% of our member institutions do not feel that U.S. News and NCTQ are appropriate and objective arbiters for such a wide-scale review of educator preparation program quality. Based on AACTE's interactions with NCTQ at the national level and our members' repeated experiences with the group over the years, we believe it is our responsibility to inform the public about the facts, experiences, and perspectives of our membership.
